I'd say this game is really up in the air. LA Tech beat a pretty good Memphis team yet lost to San Jose State and beat Hawaii on the Island.
This is a toss up in my book. With Roberts I would say it would be more in our favor. Seems like LTech has a few different players who step up on any night. Millsap of course, Powell, and Alick...Keeping Millsap off the boards isn't going to happen.

just tuning in. should be interesting to hear the broadcast from the opposition's point of view.
This really is a big game for SMU. If we are going to have any chance at post-season play, La Tech is probably a team we need to sweep. I expect this to be a close game. La Tech doesn't have any better fan support than we do, so no big home court advantage.
It's 14 all as I type this

sounded from a La Tech perspective like we did a good job inside. Roberts impressed the Tech announcers, too. Good 1st half. Hang tough, Ponies.
Interesting stat - SMU has 24 pts "in the paint" compared to 12 for La Tech. With Milsap's reputation coming in, who'da thunked it?

Great to have D Rob back and playing well. Castro is playing the best ball of his career....man, it's great to have a low post scoring option. If we can get Hop to show up, we have a good chance to win this one.

Simpson still not back in game they said. I hope it is not serious. I would imagine Hopkins wrist is still bothering him?

this team is walking wounded. With Simpson out and Reay in foul trouble, sounds like Tubbs is going "small" with Castro and Pearson in the post and Isam, Roberts and BHop playing a 3 guard set. Can't afford anyone else in foul trouble. Ponies currently up by 4

this one is slipping away. without BHop's scoring, we don't have much of a chance. Has he ever gone scoreless in a game?
