Soccermom, I can always count on you to dispel any positive talk about UT. Keep it up.

Except that 98% of us would kill to have some of those players

Think your percentage may be a little high. UT does get a lot of exceptional athletes but has had a little trouble lately doing much with them. Not all of us on here have the deep affection for UT that some of you do. Arrogance and a sense of entitlement are two things that I have trouble tolerating. UT expresses both of them.
When will I start feeling stimulated??

Well... it is only behind Rice and UT in most rankings out there.

Latest US News rankings I've seen have TAMU and SMU equally ranked. The quality at TAMU is much more variable than that at SMU, especially for a corporate workforce. Just sayin'.

standard deviation can matter just as much as median/mean. USNEWS should really take a page out of the NRC graduate school evaluations and due a 95%CI, but god only knows how schools would abuse that. SMU should continue moving up and separating itself. Not gonna pass Rice, but beating out A&M and UT is not a stretch given our numbers and endowment. More applications due to national exposure would help. Come on Buzz!

Hey tristatecoog. You better take that link to another website out of your signature line. It violates the terms of use of this site. Last week a guy from SDSU came on here promoting a site for the new big east with all the new members and he was apparently told he would have to pay an advertising invoice or face legal action.

Just passing along what I was told.
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally

Yes, yes we do. Notre Dame fans actually think God roots for Notre Dame.

Then we'll get along just fine!

They should be arrogant and cocky...they have the most players in the NFL and several good players in the NBA
