Wow. LB would be something else. Yes, jkflambo, he is flighty, but when he sits and stays, he wins. He was a great coach @ucla.

Hey, I'm looking for a paycheck, too.

The difference is that Brown â€” while a world-class whiner who has whored himself out to every job on the planet â€” is an exceptional teacher.

So while I'd love the job, even Steve-O can see Brown would be a better hire.

Brown has already expressed interest in the SMU job.

I guess we could always overpay for some big name college coach that doesn't really want to be here except for the money as he always calls some other place home.

Is it similar to hiring Jack Pardee for UH football instead of Sumlin when Briles left? The key is an assistant as HCIW, sort of like Mack Brown and Muschamp/Diaz.

Another thought is that Eddie Sutton lasted one year at the U of San Francisco after taking over at the same age as Larry Brown.
