Look at the bright side, we got a verbal from a guy who had an offer from UT, when is the last time that happened....granted it would been nice to get that verbal now as opposed to a year ago and then have him decommit....but it's tuff seldding at SMU these days.
Re:
If that is all you two are saying, you seem to be going on and on about it. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Hey, you're still protesting someone not giving you inside info a few months ago by making us all suffer with that Bates pic.
The attitude dictates that you don't care whether she comes, stays, lays, or prays. I mean whatever happens, your toes are still tappin'. Now when you got that, then you have the attitude.

No, Ms. Bates is protesting the product on the football field. Our first bowl appearance since the DP will be made only sweeter by the removal of Ms. Bates in favor of SMU alum and Miss February 2005 Amber Campisi.
Courage. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Good grief. SMU pulled Chris' offer MONTHS and MONTHS ago.
And those of you who keep bringing up Vincent Chase's situation don't know him. Vincent was upfront with Bennett and told him that his commitment was firm, but that he wanted to take advantage of some free trips. And true to his word, that's exactly what happened. Chris Hall on the other hand, was pulling the coaching staff's collective chain. I personally empathise with the coaching staff. If a kid doesn't have the discipline to stick with his commitment, forget him. We've had too many players on this team over the last few years that haven't had the mental fortitude to stick it out, and I for one think we're better off without them. Hell, I'm pretty certain the coaches have better things to do than to keep courting a kid who's more likely to flake out than not. Unlike some of you, I'm not willing to suck up to any 18-year-old punk who can run a sub 4.5.
What a long trip that guy took. Hope he turns out to be something because that was sure alot of begging.
By they way - i think we should suck up to anyone who is 18, runs a sub 4.5 40 and can play ball. Its called recruiting and if it bothers you its a good thing you are not on the coaching staff. We ought to be begging more if you ask me. Play all aspects of the game to win.
