Pretty benevolent (and saavy) move on Tech's part. Tubberville won a lot of favor judging by comments from interviewed residents on the evening news. Did SMU send anyone? We talk about making in-roads in South Dallas and this would have been an excellent opportunity/gesture.

Even if the volunteer actions were self serving... what a great strategic PR move. Our guys could have jumped in their cars to help the community. Still can.
