I don't think we can or should offer him a Head Coach in Waiting position but I might see him being given a position on the staff. He once was a Hot Prospect. Its hard to judge his recent stops because he left before he could build the programs

I don't know much about Buzz Peterson, however, his record at most of his stops doesn't look very impressive. He certainly has been around the block with many programs. I wonder if he'll name drop (Michael Jordan) as frequently as Doherty did during his time here. Maybe a younger coach would be more open to have a mentor like Larry Brown for a couple of years. As long as it is in their contract as a specific sucession plan, they should be fine with it.
