When the 2011 season began, wide receiver Keenan Holman was widely expected to emerge as a major weapon in the SMU offense. But an ankle injury - the first of his life - left him limping or simply watching for the rest of the season. Holman visited with PonyFans.com to discuss how he kept busy while he worked to regain his health, and how his relationship with new receivers coach Jason Phillips reminds him of his past.
Enjoy!

Re: KEENAN HOLMAN: Up and running
Thanks, PP. I'm with Stallion on Holman. He's got to prove it on the field. But his size and some of his 2010 highlights makes me get excited about his potential.
Re: KEENAN HOLMAN: Up and running
Count me among those who expected a huge season last year from Holman. I'll give him a do-over, though, and look forward to that big season in 2012.

Re: KEENAN HOLMAN: Up and running
yeah he's got talent-no doubt but he was very raw because he went to a school that ran 90% of the time and had a rudimentary passing game. I remember watching highlites and all you saw was 10 yard outs. I think he's got as good a shot as the others but there are some other talented alternatives

Sure, there are other alternatives. But I agree that he showed flashes of some serious potential as a freshman, and I hope he builds on that with a big year in 2012.
