SMU basketball team and coach Tubbs got some good publicity on KXAS-TV Channel 5 tonite at 10 p.m. Nice story on his commitment to SMU with comments from Bryan Hopkins and Eric Castro.

Newy said there was another report on Sunday. I'll be watching. I think it is wonderful that a Ft. Worth station is providing some coverage of the Pony's. Now if we could just get the Dallas stations to do something.

One thing about Channel 5 (KXAS) possibly covering SMU more than the Dallas stations is an SMU alumna works there, at least I know she used to do so.
