The BB Coaching Staff is very impressive with Tim Jankovich, IL State HC who took the Redbirds into this year's NIT, Rod Strickland, ex-DePaul and NBA star and ace recruiter Jerrance Howard. Watch Chicago HS players appear in Dallas. Staff has Bill Self and Calipari roots, plus LB's with Dean Smith and NC. Blue blood line-up taking us to the Big East.

This staff being close to World Wide Wes means that SMU will be seeing top 25 classes soon...Hope we start to schedule each other.

Does the influence of World Wide Wes make anyone else here cringe just a little?
Also, there have been comments about SMU getting players recruited by Strickland and Howard. Anyone know who some of those targeted players might be?
Either way ... Welcome to Dallas, Coach Brown.

He shouldn't...some people don't like college players having "handlers", but he isn't breaking any NCAA rules.

THIS! SO this! ^ Been a LONG time when both football and basketball have been hitting on all cylinders at the same time. Top 25 in both in 2 years? (and women's bball?) "SMU was "The U" before there was the U." - 30 on 30.
