So Rod Strickland/Kentucky is mentioned as one of the assistant coaches coming to Dallas. What would his role be? Offense? Defense? Recruiter? Shooting coach?

Strickland was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving without insurance, driving with no registration tags and disregarding a traffic device. This was Strickland's fourth DUI arrest. Source

If not, it would be tough to go recruiting, to say the least.

Strickland is the main recruiter for uk I believe. I suspect he will do some of that plus get other opportunites that he wasn't getting at uk.

I though he just recently lost hem and that was why he moved to a more operations/admin roll at UK?

There are a lot of conflicting rumors going around. I thought Strickland started in an administrative role (at Memphis), and that he had something to do with "player development" or somesuch, and actually hasn't done much recruiting at either school.

I read that he was in an assistant role, then after his DUI, got demoted to a lesser position. Not sure if this is accurate.
