If history repeats itself, LB will push the envelope. Everyone is quite familiar with the rules and know which ones they can violate and to what extent. What coach doesn't play the game?

LB is going to need more than a touch-up on his knowledge of NCAA rules, many of which have changed (or been created) since he last coached in college. He's going to have to move in with the compliance folks for a while until he's up to speed. (Brown: What is this thing you refer to ... a "text message"?)

And there's talk that there will be deregulation in all forms of social media contact. That change could come by 2013-14.

I just realized that text messaging and email did not exist the last time Brown coached college ball.

I read a lot of things. Plus did you see NCAA president Mark Emmert's visit with Jim Nantz during the NCAA tournament? He talked about that quite a bit.
