That will be true for the short term but not for the long term. The NCAA is about to go through a massive overhaul of its rule book to rid itself of ridiculous rules.

And there's talk that there will be deregulation in all forms of social media contact. That change could come by 2013-14.

I just realized that text messaging and email did not exist the last time Brown coached college ball.

I read a lot of things. Plus did you see NCAA president Mark Emmert's visit with Jim Nantz during the NCAA tournament? He talked about that quite a bit.
