The Washington Mustangs ... er, Redskins ... drafted another SMU player, selecting CB Richard Crawford in the seventh round!

Once again the Cowboys should have taken him. He was right here in their backyard and he had a really good year and could have bolstered the secondary even more.

On cornerback Richard Crawford of SMU:

[Crawford] has the ability to play on the inside, covering the nickel, and some outside, and he’s a punt returner. I talked to June Jones in detail about him in detail, and was happy he was there in the seventh."
