So how is June feeling about being at SMU for his 5th year? This should be interesting.
I think he has done a good job of getting this program turned around, yet he is probably not the "face of the franchise" guy to make this "The Dallas team" as some might have envisioned (or sell any tickets for that matter), get the community on board, or even recruit well locally.
Then he attempts to bolt for ASU, and rarely talks to the media during spring practice.
June has called this a rebuilding year (probably due to O line and QB situation), but Mason continues to build a strong D.
Intriguing stuff, especially with Larry Brown and his posse moving in next door and beginning their rebuild. Then there's the Pirate Captain out in the far reaches of the Pac 12 picking off SMU recruits for his own rebuild. I love college football!
