I can't wait to hear Mel Kiper start babbling about him and try to make it sound like he has actually seen SMU play.

He will be our highest drafted NFL player in some 25 years. Potentially a 1st round choice.

Hes gonna fun to watch in the NFL.
Trey was using the powers of Gamehendge to allow the show to continue, to give the band the strength it needed to help break through this barrier

I really hope he continue to develop, even after he leaves SMU. He does look like a freakin' beast. He's the first college football player I've seen in person where I said "oh damn." First time was when I was behind him in Subway. He dwarfed me.

Wow. Great exposure for SMU. The best thing I like about that article is that he's working on lower body strength and getting low. The power is definitely there - the speed is what's really freaky.

Does he have a younger brother / brothers? Nephews? Anyone? ;-)

I'd love to see him on the Lions.. he'd fit right into that D-line and would help dominate even more so.
An SMU fan from the other D.

I would not be surprised to see margus move to the O-Line in the NFL. Would be a great Left Tackle with his size, strength, athleticism and long arms. Still can put on 30-40 lbs on his fram. 6 foot 8 320 lb LT with freakish quickness, strength and long arms...

Isn't that where Linkovich Chomofsky is from? I wonder if they are relations.

Very intriguing idea. He would definitely need to put on some weight IMHO. Could we see another Taylor Thompson like transformation leading up to the draft in the offseason? Perhaps easier to drop 10-20 pounds for someone that age, though, than to gain 20-30 in a short time. Also, he's already not played football for very long and if he has to transition to another position altogether it could be a further knock on him and would push him down the draft boards methinks.

Interesting to hear what the experts think - there's a good reason I'm sure JJ opted to put him on the D side vs the O side to begin with I'm guessing.
