LB said it, did June actually say it? If June is King, Larry is the Emperor...we all know he likes "practice"...doesn't seem to matter which sport.

June said it in jest when LB came to a football practice two weeks ago. I was there.
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally

Is there any chance people could take these comments and blow them out of proportion even more?

When you're in the little world of message boards, it's very easy to overthink anything.

Oscar Roan was an All American tight end at SMU. Due to academic casualties, SMU's frontline in hoops was depleted. He approached the basketball coach and said, I played freshman hoops before I transferred here to play football and I'd be glad to help you out. Prewitt looked at him with the look of "yeah right". Coach asked where he transferred from, "UCLA", was Roan's response, and Roan was immediately given a tryout and played that week. In those days UCLA was dominant.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

I say we settle this with a one-on-one game between June and Larry. I'd pay to see that.

Did LB share any early bird dinner special hotspots with the KLUV listeners?

My guess is that the football team would entirely foul out within 10 minutes. Real question then would be if there were any uninjured basketball players left to play?
