Eric Johnson at All-Star game.was 4-10 for 43 yards no Ints and no TDs. Rushed 3 times for 4 yards. BTW the star of the game was DB Carl Taylor from Carter who intercepted 2 passes and returned one for a TDs. He was on the bubble for one of the last remaining scholarships-but signed with Rice. I predict one day we may regret not getting Taylor.
According to some on this board, coming from the DISD, Taylor probably didn’t have the grades to get into SMU, so he had to settle for Rice.
2005 recruiting class: 24 commits – 0 from the DISD. SMU is Dallas' University.
Yeah..and with our two commits from N. Crowley, it appears SMU recruits better than TCU in Ft. Worth.
only tongue in cheek... about who recruits better and where ....we'll have to check it all out again in two to three years. Pretty good commentarty and recap on Cavan's recruiting in today's DMN. In the meantime, let me share some "sunshine". We appreciate our coaches' hard work at bringing in our finest class in years! Now that should get you stoked!! P.S. Let the squaking of the "chicken littles" begin. SMU...2nd to None

I assume this was meant to be tongue-in-cheek. The attitude dictates that you don't care whether she comes, stays, lays, or prays. I mean whatever happens, your toes are still tappin'. Now when you got that, then you have the attitude.

Re: Eric Johnson at All-Star game.
DO you recall who were the other QB's at the game?
Local BoysGuys, in all actuallity.......most kids don't want to go to college in their own backyard. Yes, most want to go to a automatic winning program, but I would way alot on the fact that kids want to get away from Mom and Dad, so they choose to go elsewhere.
