Re: Commit #3
Dee Paul jumped 22-11 1/4 on his first attempt and won the Class A Long Jump at the Texas State Track Meet-4 events remaining-actually 3 because his Coach decided to scratch him from the Triple Jump because he apparently has been hurt the last 3 times he competed in triple jump. Probably strategic so team can preserve instead track for State Championship.

Paul won a 2nd Gold in the 300 Hurdles with a time of 37.58. That's a great time for a Junior-although Dye Stat hasn't updated this weekends times that would rank as the 9th best time in Texas this year(all Classifications)
Munday won a Silver in the 4 x 100 Meter Relay with Paul an anchor
Munday finished 6th in the 4 x 400 Meter Relay with Paul
Looks like Munday will run away with 2nd straight 1A Championship as they have a big lead-several other kids scored points as well including another kid named Paul

Re: Commit #3
hmm I'm not sure how the UIL website got the 4 x 400 Meter Relay finish wrong. This site says they won a Gold in that event too behind a strong anchor leg by Paul.
