So Luker is leaving the team to be a rock star. For his sake, I hope it works out and his band becomes the second coming of the Rolling Stones. Especially since he's only a year away from getting a great degree from a great school - for free.
This means we are extremely uinexperienced at quarterback. Bartel and Wallis are redshirt freshmen. Hodges and Gilray are true freshmen. Meeks, assuming he stays committed to SMU, is a year away from setting foot on campus. We need to sign probably one more quarterback this year, and then one more next year. There's a lot of talent in this crew, but the inexperience scares me. An inexperienced quarterback, plus a thin offensive line, means that the receivers and running backs will have to be exceptional.
