Margus Ranked 13th Best Draft Prospect for 2013

Margus getting a lot of miles out of the Bruce Feldman "Freak" article. Comes in at #13 out of the top 32 draft eligible prospects in 2013 as compiled by CBSSports.com and Nfldraftscout.com

Maybe one of JJ's hyperbole babbles will come true if Margus goes in the first round. Hard to believe that was possible when JJ laid down the bold claim during Hunt's freshman year.

Love the pub, but let's see how the senior season goes. Mock drafts by writers nobody has ever heard of mean little, of course.

That said, I fully expect him to go in the first round!

Let's hope the game he put up against Pitt becomes more of the norm this coming season. Then I could start believing in that rating. Now it is on potential alone.

they were mentioning on the ticket a few weeks ago how lots of the mock drafts had people going in the first round -- who were not even drafted...

Of couse the Pitt game has little to do with the ranking. It's him being a 6'7" 290 lb world class athlete. I would just like to see him finally be more consistent on the field with more games like Pitt.

Assuming that Margus Hunt does not get hurt and if SMU goes to a bowl how many football games will he have participated in when his career as a Mustang is over?

I don't have the answer to the following, but I'm curious.

Can anyone name a first round draft choice with fewer college and total games?

I hope Margus responds well to the pressure of all this talk. I am certain he will be 1st team DE in CUSA, Texas Football, et. al. in pre-season. A lot to carry on your back. I'm pulling for you Margus.
