Temporary lights on top of the press box are gone now. Anyone know what the plan is from here?
Re: Ford Lights
Maybe we're switching to a power run offense based around Line and the obese RB we have.

Obese? He played well last year at a DL playing weight and has lost weight this offseason.

Why would you have temp lights in the first place?

Original permanent lights were located more or less at the four corners of the stadium. June complained that the angle of the lighting was causing problems for the receivers to see the ball so quick remedy temporary lighting set along the length of the field on both sides were installed last year until they could come up with new permanent lighting.

I'm with you, Blvd. I thought he played pretty well given his experience at the position. I think he will be even better this year after slimming down a little more.

A very legitimate complaint. However, we had no further night games after the temp lights were put up.

June was throwing a hissy fit so Orsini and Gerry just rolled their eyes and cut a check.
Shuts June up and I'm sure they'll reuse the lights for the new tennis complex or something.

I think that at the time the lights were put up there was still a possibility that one of the remaining games would have been moved to night, but I could be wrong.

It never seemed to have much effect on slowing down the visiting team's passing game since we opened the stadium.............

Re: Ford Lights
I've always thought that the angle of the lights should not have been a problem for the receivers, but the over all brightness of the lighting at midfield was a little dim. Anyway, it will be interesting to see what the lighting looks like this fall.
