Brown hires George LynchAs strength and conditioning coach.
Hope it hadn't been posted - I didn't see any threads about it. http://http://espn.go.com/blog/north-carolina-basketball/post/_/id/8274/former-unc-forward-lynch-hired-by-smu An atheist is a guy who watches a Notre Dame-SMU football game and

Re: Brown hires George Lynchgood news. the staff is complete. i think goerge becomes an extra recruiter. interesting the emphasis thisstaff puts on recruiting. they must be trying to really succeed.
Re: Brown hires George LynchLynch can't recruit, he's just an assistant S&C and player development guy. Your recruiters are Brown, Jank, Maligi & Howard. Ops is Hobbie.

Re: Brown hires George LynchWhats wrong with jank
Re: Brown hires George LynchThought they were just limited...
Re: Brown hires George LynchNot sure why the basketball team needs their own trainer for 15 kids. Last I checked the Athletic Department had 3 full time trainers who were available and extensively used by all sports.
Re: Brown hires George Lynchhe'll recruit - it just won't be official
Re: Brown hires George Lynch
Do the top programs have trainers?
Re: Brown hires George LynchYou have to have a sport specific trainer for each revenue, at the least. Hoops has to have their own guy, and he has to be very good in the Big East. I like Hix as a person, but he strikes me as a jack of all trades more than a straight hoops guy
Re: Brown hires George LynchJank does not have the official title of HCIW. SMU skirted that but even so I do not think it applies in basketball yet. So I believe he can recruit.

Brown hires George LynchSMU was worried about the HCIW title applying to BB in the future so they didn't officially give him that title. He can recruit.
Re: Brown hires George LynchLynch might not technically be able to recruit, but when he's showing some recruit around the weight room, it wouldn't be shocking if he had on an NBA Championship ring that he and Kobe Bryant won together. That's legal, isn't it?
