...a 5* from Sealy, high school home of ED, decommitted from UT. He lists SMU among others (A$M, LSU, TCU, Baylor) that he is reconsidering. We can dream, can't we?

If Ricky want to play basketball & football in college; the Ponies need to get JJ and basketball coach LB on the same page with Ricky.

P.S. The whorns will love my comment on their Rivals page. Something along the lines of making his uncle E.D. proud by looking around to see what college would be in Ricky's best interest.

Is Eric allowed to try and persuade him into coming to SMU? Or would that be against NCAA rules? I figure if we landed a 5 star WR over All the major Texas Football schools minus TCU it'd be big news and people would be crying cheaters.

Since he is a relative they have a pre-established relationship so yes Eric can talk to Ricky.

I wonder if they told him that if he didn't go to Texas they would make sure that he never got a job in the entire State of Texas after graduating.

LB mentioned talking frequently to June during his hiring process, so they do have at least some level of communication.

I believe UT must have been successful in carrying out their threat on ED. He hasn't ever worked in the state of Texas.

technically, when he played the vinous and oilers here, he was working in Texas. At least from a tax perspective.
