what a change. For years I listen over a webcast of the radio transmission. Then on occasion we were on TV. And now, nothing but TV. Nice progress.

Thanks for making us winners June Jones!
Re: Entire SMU football schedule to be televised
I have always been torn about developments like this. On the one hand, it is AWESOME exposure which can only help the profile of the program. On the other hand, it takes away some motivation for casual fans to make the trip to Ford for the game (why pay $ to go see them play when I can watch from my living room for free?). Overall I see it as a net positive, but it always lingers in the back of my mind what impact it has on drawing folks to games (especially when the networks make the tragic mistake of panning the stands to show all those folks cleverly disguised as empty seats).

Entire SMU football schedule to be televised
Now even the casual fan can see games and get a little more excited. Will ultimately get a few more people to the games if we put up w's.

Time Warner Texas and Comcast Sports will get us about as many eyeballs as the CUSA webcasts did.

And to figure out if Comcast Sports is available in Austin.

Trust me... this is a GREAT thing for SMU. TV every week means more exposure which will result in more recruits that are better and it means the future will be even better. There is nothing bad from this type of regional and national exposure!
