Comments from a ten page thread on the frog site titled "The drug bust wasn't this embarrassing...":
OMG! We have indeed become Purple Baylor
Feisty, I was really hoping this wouldn't get posted to a public TCU board
Mods, please delete thread, as this is the worst thing that's happened to TCU since the football penalties of the 80's
That was brutal. I was expecting it to be bad, but not unwatchable. Good lord
Last year was bad. Now we are just trying to scare kids away. This song was cool 6 months ago.
"Purple Baylor" is the perfect way to describe this crap.
We already have a thread for this. It's the vanity plates threads. You know, the thread that no one from SMU or Tech will ever see.
There's no hiding this. It's already on just about every board in the B12 and beyond. TCU made it very public by posting on the Facebook page. It can't be unseen.
I'm a student. The video made me uncomfortable and awkward. Last year was too, but this topped it.
Well, this is the end of our recruiting hot streak. We may even have a few decommits after this.
Big East just dropped its lawsuit saying "We had no idea what we almost got ourselves involved with". West Virginia begs them to take them back...
I'm mortified ... Imagine how that feels when your coworkers make fun of you and your school? Kind of how I felt the day of the drug busts.
I prefer everyone doesn't view my alma mater as a school where dorks go. I would think we'd all like that.
This video is terrible. It basically sums up why I spent most of my life avoiding school sanctioned "events".
This video must be another example of what constitutes "frog factor".
Oh wow. I just watched it. Wow. Whoever greenlighted this should be terminated immediately.
Truly....TRULY....atrocious. Not only will this be generating flame options for opposing fans for years to come, if I was a prospective student these days and saw this lameness I'd immediately start wondering if everyone that went to TCU was this lame. Please somehow keep this away from recruits and prospective students.
I think Robert Lee Cobb (sp?) is the guy who is in charge of the video board. Putting that up during the Froggy High game would be a step toward repairing some of our own weak in-game content.
