Yes, I agree that it is what it is, and its all POSITIVE! I see absolutely nothing to complain about right now.

You don't follow very closely, that's for sure

I follow wins and losses, and after 6 long years of precious few wins and a lot of really embarrissing losses, its all looking really good to me Debbie.[/quote]

If what you say is true then it is all neutral so far as no games have been played under the new regime.

Only difference is that I work in the sport, deal w/it everyday professionally, and know much of the industry. Stallions reads the internet.

Not to worry though, I'm about done here. About to be rivals only.

No, its all positive for me right now because our basketball program has just hired a basketball god as the head coach and I am expect that we are going to witness a huge turnaround. If they suck and lose to another SWAC team at home, then I'll [deleted].

I apologize for being so riled up and getting a little too personal and attacking with my comments. It's really not my style and its certainly not my intent to drive you from the board. I imagine that you have much more basketball knowledge than I do, because I'm just a fan. I've been giving to the Mustang Club and buying season tickets since the late 80's, and I am just ecstatic with our move to the Big East and the hiring of Larry Brown. It would just be nice to wait until there is something to actually criticize instead of nitpicking star ratings or transfers.

First, you aren't driving me from this board, so no worries. It just isn't the place to discuss SMU basketball at depth, and really hasn't been for some time. Beyond that, its public and given my job description, I tend to get myself n hot water on open forums. Self preservation.

As for actual criticism, it's a program chock full of micro moves every week. Some work out well, some not so well, but all need to be evaluated. Its not nitpicking to say we screwed up our big man situation horribly this offseason and on paper, its made us worse. Its not nitpicking to say the one kid that has people truly excited, see Josiah, hasn't and may not be admitted. Nor is it criticizing to say Nic Moore was brought in as a hedge against Josiah. That's just genuine discussion. Saying nothing has gone wrong in the Brown era thus far just isn't real. Brown himself will tell you that. All that said, I feel good about the future.

If Pres. Turner / admissions does not let the Arizona transfer into school then I will be real disappointed. Seriously, why pay big $ for a coach and then not bend rules to get the best players in school? I do expect a big talent upgrade in the near future with the new staff but the stonewalling transfers pisses me off. TCU, TX Tech., Baylor all get it done so why does SMU continually make it difficult? Let the kids in and if they don't follow the rules here then make tough decision then.

I guess I'm going to have to reactivate my Rivals account now.

Stop being a passive aggressive little [deleted] and just leave if you're going to leave.

It's no big deal, I'll be around via pm. Every staff is different, and some don't mind the posting of some things, others require a cloak of darkness. It's not like I'm gonna stop talking mustang hoops, just have to really tone it down. All good

Yeah, seriously. BigT3x has attacked people in what seems like 50% of his posts. Hoopmanx brings value to the board
