SMU hoops season tickets are up 50 percent?

whoever comes to the games comes, and I'll be thankful for the increased vibe. That said, they'll leave in two years when Jank takes over, so I have limited time for them

Just to clear up, I'm fine with bandwagon/Wal-Mart/T-shirt fans. Many will be new and come to games, and when we start sucking it up again (God forbid), they'll leave. But the thing is, many will stay as fans, some young ones might even choose to attend SMU and later become die-hards.

There is plenty of SMU bandwagon fan apparel at Tom Thumb on Lovers, Kroger on Mockingbird and Target on Lemmon Avenue by Cityplace.

With the abomination occurring to my beloved Mavs, it's likely there will be a great opportunity to capture Dallas basketball fans attention the next couple of years. No D-Will, no JET, no Tyson, trading down in a talented draft and leaving Dirk with a handful of spares is a recipe for failed basketball....and we know Dallas fans will forget about you in a heartbeat if you start losing. Could open the door for SMU.

Is there a walmart that sells SMU gear? Gotta go where the people are, walmart for a t-shirt to wear to a game for a casual fan seems more realistic than trying to get people to pay for an overpriced shirt at the book store.

Yes, I have seen SMU gear at the new Walmart on NW Highway.

As of today, the Mavs are pretty screwed unless Cuban can pull a rabbit out of his hat. I just don't see them making the playoffs w/ Dirk, Matrix, Carter, and company. Could be good for us.

I know quite a few SMU fans have season tickets for both.

I'm one. I've been a Mavs season ticket holder for three years but a lifelong fan. '85 was my first game vs. the Supersonics and I was hooked. Only missed five games during the championship year....greatest eight months of my sports fan life. Hate Cubes for not resigning TC, biggest mistake in Mavs history. I've let him know several times.

its going to be a tough mavericks few years. Dirk is on the way out - has maybe 2 yr left. Don't understand how we had the room we had and got shut out of anything exciting.

bring on the big east. NBA in this town is gonna suck.
