New 2012 Commit: Jordan Dickersonhttp://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/basketball ... son-118700
yeahhhhhhh buddy. Do we have the new Twin Towers in TX? "smupony94: Harry, you have been promoted to purveyor of official status capabilities."
Re: New 2012 Commit: Jordan DickersonCongratulations, and welcome to SMU!
But why was he still available? Plagiarize!
Let no one else's work evade your eyes. Remember why the good lord made your eyes. So don't shade your eyes, just Plagiarize, plagiarize, plagiarize! (Only be sure always to call it, please .... "research.")
Re: New 2012 Commit: Jordan Dickerson
You just had to ask that question. LOL. We still need Kennedy. #HammerDown
Re: New 2012 Commit: Jordan DickersonWe know he's rough and can get pushed around from some high schoolers but all of that can be corrected with coaching for proper foot work, body positioning and added leg and body strength which can be coached, you just can't coach the size as they say.
He can block shots and Larry B will grill him on defense as LB is working all the kids on defense this summer.....big time. Its great to have TWO friggin 7 Footers on the team and we have great coaches that will add value to the members of this team. This is good stuff. I understand he had qualifying scores in May. "Dickerson came to Lincoln as a raw junior from Alexandria, Va., with limited basketball experience. After a solid senior year, he headed down to IMG this past fall and enjoyed an impressive season there, coach Loren Jackson said. He averaged 10 points, eight rebounds and four blocks per game as the team went 28-2. “Jordan is a very talented kid that has a great opportunity ? his upside is tremendous,†Jackson said. “Someone is going to benefit from him and he’s going to benefit from going to school. He really, really improved. He has a good concept of how a big guy should play. He’s a lot more skilled than people think." Re: New 2012 Commit: Jordan DickersonIf Coach Brown is going to be teaching raw players and trying to mold them in to legit college players, big is the way to start.
When does he get to campus?
New 2012 Commit: Jordan DickersonHe can catch the plane when they are picking them up at the Airpot.
Re: New 2012 Commit: Jordan DickersonTo paraphrase Good Time Charlie Wilson, "You can teach 'em to play basketball but you can't teach 'em to be 6'11", 240."
Re: New 2012 Commit: Jordan Dickersonpretty impressive list of schools hanging around this guy. feels like a nice pick up for 2012. being able to put two decent 7 footers on the floor vs CUSA teams might cause some fun match ups - especially if they can run just a bit.
Now with the B.E. could be a different story - but i would guess we have help on the way in 2013.
Re: New 2012 Commit: Jordan DickersonAwesome news!
Re: New 2012 Commit: Jordan Dickersongood news, indeed. Lots of pressure on the two new big men. Hopefully between them they can give us a low post presence we really missed last year

Re: New 2012 Commit: Jordan Dickerson
Question: If Dickerson developed into Bamba II, would that be so bad? I would be very happy with that. Do unto others before they do unto you!!
Re: New 2012 Commit: Jordan DickersonTotally different body type for the first major difference.... about 50 pounds off.
Re: New 2012 Commit: Jordan DickersonYeah, you're right.
