Then it must be a really sucky candidate. Dump bad news on Friday so nobody notices because of the weekend.

I have a feeling it's going to be the interim guy ("in-house hire").

So the Ponyfans "Thad for AD" was approved? And on his birthday, too!

We have a great "in-house" guy named Tim Leonard. Leonard has been trying to hold the pieces together for the last 2 years with Orsini becoming infatuated with himself and his inflated view of his accomplishments. Leonard was a huge reason we held onto Larry Brown minimizing the possible negatives that could have resulted from Orsini's failure to consider or initiate any contact with LB for at least the first 3 weeks of the coaching search process.

I for one would have no problem with yanking the "Interim" tag off of Tim Leonard. Not sure if there is a top-notch AD looking to make a move out there or not that we could grab, but Tim has been solid and clearly has the relationships to keep things moving

It will be interesting to see if Leonard sticks around and returns to his athletics development job.
