Last I heard, it's still in the NCAA's hands. But history suggests a player has to play for Nebraska or Florida State to get a fair shake from the NCAA. Hope that's not the case here, because Markus has worked really hard to get himself eligible.

It is being reported on the other board that Bennet is NOT allowing Pratt to return. There's no particular explanation.

FYI: To all of those wondering the status of #56. He has regained GPA eligibility, if he passes this last summer school course, which is likely (knock on wood), the NCAA will have to decide on his future. Bennett has worked closely with the committee and Pratt to ensure his return. Given Bennetts history of persuasion, I think it is a go. Keep your fingers crossed and PRAY.

Consider all digits extremely crossed.
We need Markus!

Wait a minute....
We do not NEED Pratt. The defense is great with or without him.

We'll have a very good defense, either way. But I'll feel much better with Markus out there. Melvin Williams has shown some nice potential and improvement, but he's the best DE we have at the moment. And in Coach Bennett's defense, we need as many fresh sets of legs as we can get.
