Heard from a recent x-player, that we will be wearing all black unis for the tcu game.

Believe it when I see it.

From 20 feet away or more it looked like a cheap knockoff of the Terps old black home unis.

Maybe the alternative uni is the graphite color accented with blue and red (like the new Nike shirts in bookstore) - that would be sharp. Anything is a step up from the Arm Forces Bowl uni that was a complete cluster ****. Let's look at it before we pass judgement, we might like it (doubtful, but we might). It's an alternative uni anyhow.

Nope...our colors are Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue ...not red and white.

Love or hate them, black jerseys are part of the game now and recruits want them. Lets just not end up with a terrible out of touch failure like the Adidas ones were. If anything, having a black jersey is rather mild compared to what else is out there.

I really don't understand all of the angst. Our colors are red and blue so what does it matter if black is substituted for white? Some on here would prefer the khaki pants worn by Doak. My point is that the 3rd color is to be considered a neutral and there isn't a right or wrong. I like many think the Pony Express unis are the best ever, but I'm fine with changing with the times.

I lke these quite a bit though on another note.... These were Austin Westlake H.S.'s back in 2006... Maybe we can throw some silver in there while we're lookin to add black...
