Agreed. A good and intelligent visiting poster. Try to imagine someone from Lubbock stringing together a few cogent sentences.

Technically Lt. Gov Bob Bullock did the work for both Tech and BU who were both initially left out of a 10 team setup after UT and A&M killed off the idea of a full 16 team merger.

In any event I am not trying to start things here, I am just trying to defend my school in the midst of talking to you guys about football as we play opening weekend. Looking forward to having a longtime foe back on the schedule and really look forward to the series we have lined up. You guys have come a long way under JJ and I think you have a great opportunity in the Big East going forward.

Believe it or not, one of my best football experiences as a SMU student was at the SMU @ Baylor game in 1986. I successfully smuggled in a full 2 liter bottle of Coke (with only enough Coke for Color - the rest was rum).

The way I see it, it is our moral obligation to make fun of Baylor/Waco and TCU. I expect the same in return. It's all in good fun.

People like to say Baylor took someone elses spot in the Big 12, but once it was determined they were going to 12 teams (for the conference title game), what four should game gone?

2. Baylor 66-47-1 (.583)
3. Texas 65-48-2 (.574)
4. Texas Tech 63-51-1 (.552)
5. TCU 47-63-1 (.428)
6. Houston 45-64-2 (.414)

The right four got picked.

It was an absolute no brainer to take Baylor over TCU at the time

...and we probably should have been kicked out around 2003, but luckily we have turned it around. Thrilled that Baylor/TCU/SMU will all be playing each other every year with all three having recent success and kick [deleted] stadiums soon.
