SMU brought 3,000 for the "it can't get any worse for either of us" bowl in 2003's Waco game. I expect you will bring at least that and maybe up to 5,500.

Don't worry. We will have tons of SMU fans. I wouldn't be surprised with close to 7k with Dallas, H-Town, and Austin all easily in driving distance and Monday being Labor Day.

We easily filled our allotment at A&M last year and had 2-3 times as many fans as most people expected at the BBVA Compass Bowl.
