Cole Beasley reportedly leaves the Cowboys
Story is all over twitter. Left for personal reasons, may be "quitting football."
Hope that everything is okay with Cole and his family.

Re: Cole Beasley reportedly leaves the Cowboys
This is nuts. I went to their camp today just to see him (just got back ... I wore my SMU gear and everything). I kept telling my family "he'll be out soon" and I never saw him, which I thought was because I missed him when I went away to grab a hot dog but then I could never make out if he was out on the field.
Wow.
Wow.

WTF!He was the only reason I was going to watch the Cowboys this year.
Re: Cole Beasley reportedly leaves the Cowboys
The guy is super hyped to be with the team and talking up his wares a week or so ago and now his heart into it anymore-something is fishy here.
Re: Cole Beasley reportedly leaves the Cowboys
Nothing fishy...maybe his grandfather passed away Wednesday night in Allen.. Dorris, 'Beas' Beasley died at age 77...related?

The NFL has some seriously scary guys who want to knock you into next week, maybe even injure you on purpose or hit you where they know you're hurt (as we now know from those Saints tapes). And a slot receiver is more exposed than most.
I guess I can understand anyone choosing not to subject himself to that.

1 There has not been a death in the family
2 This is a family issue, that hopefully is resolved within the family and short lived
3 He's a great young man with exceptional potential and just like many of us as we work to meet that potential there are highs and lows
I believe in you Cole and look forward to watching

How much is Jerry charging for practice dogs?
Hope Beas and family are ok.
