It's an old tradition that all of the freshmen run before all home games. It's always packed for the first game, but the freshmen soon realize that they get better seats by skipping the run. I hope they fix the loophole in the new stadium.

I like that they put these kids right behind the opposing teams bench.

Very cool.

There seemed like an endless stream of them. I thought they might be running out on the field, out a side tunnel and then back through the end zone in a great circle.

Hopefully when the NCAA stops by to investigate, well ... every team in Waco, hopefully they can investigate who pays for all of those ugly yellow shirts.

It isn't cool - it's cheesy. It looks like little kids running the bases at a Rangers game or looks like field day at a Baptist youth camp. We are much better than that. Courtney Kardashian wouldn't have been caught dead doing that when she was a freshman at SMU.

Of course, Courtney wouldn't have been caught dead inside Ford for any reason. That's exactly the student we want at SMU

Yeah let's not instill any school spirit in oh freshmen. How cheesy.

Well, it would be pretty cool to me if they would just show up in a seat for our games. Our football team has become fun to support.. Support the Mustangs !

Having more than 1,000 students at a game would be pretty cool.

When all freshmen and sophomores are on campus I think they need to make attendance mandatory.

Lovely sentiment, but can't happen.

Alumni will have to wake up and become the stadium environment if we ever want to have a true home field advantage. It's happening, albeit very slowly and section by section.

I imagine you have at least 2-3k. Our AD said that for BU home games we get anywhere from 7-8,000 typically out of our 12,000 undergrads.
