One doesn't know if the transcript was real or fake. And Pepper's grades may not be related to the fraud committed by the department.

One would hope the student athlete was doing his best and it was the staff, not the kid, that screwed up.

Nothing new, though I don't say that to be dismissive. Some of us remember the academic mess at Georgia in the 1980s.

Is there no statute of limitations when it comes to this kind of thing. I'm not saying that it is okay, but this is about events that took place 10 years ago. That school has already gone 2 coaching changes since then and I believe have also replaced their AD as well.

The NCAA does have a statute of limitations, but since PSU nobody knows if the NCAA still has to follow its own rules.
