The sleeves are not black, that's a underneath shirt the player is wearing under his jersey.

That's what I meant - the black compression sleeves, which appear to be part of the uniform or they wouldn't both be wearing them. I"m sure we will have black socks too.

I think appealing to recruits is more important than appealing to fans, at least as far as SMU is concerned. It's not like there's 1,000 people in Blue #11 SMU jerseys on the Blvd. in the fall.

I think getting as many people in SMU jerseys would help appeal to recruits and fans. Let's be honest we haven't really been appealing to anyone with our jerseys in a long time. If they have been trying to appeal to recruits they have failed miserably might as well appeal to someone.

I'll buy a current SMU jersey or ask for it for Christmas, wear it around school once or twice a week, and if I can get my hands on a SMU Rugby Club jersey/shirt I'd wear that too.

Who blatantly ignores their fans/customers and lives to tell about it? Maybe we get them as a third jersey idk but come on already and make them the home jersey.

You have to assume someone at SMU (June?) has to approve the design before Nike makes them. So until we get the "someone who approves" that has a better appreciation for what a good uniform looks like we are going to be stuck with these off the wall designs. Don't you remember that those of us who want our uniforms to reflect SMU's colors "live in the past and we have a loser outlook"???? Anyway, I agree w/your statements but I'm thankful they aren't burnt orange and lime green!!!
