That's it, I'm transferring. Seriously, what this series needs is a trophy. How about we get an old safeway shopping cart? The Kart Klash... a modern classic.
OK, as an SMU alum, I am still willing to call genius when I see it.
Funny...this photo made me laugh!:)
Sincerely,
Kinder & Gentler MGG

Yeah! I want to see that Safeway grocery cart in Heritage Hall in 2006
On the negative side, Copeland strikes again.....from this morning's DMN
"SMU's athletic director Jim Copeland said he didn't know why the schools
haven't played in such a long time."
Oh, I guess he delegates scheduling.

W-R-O-N-G ! ! ! ! !
MGM: How many UNT coeds and/or alumni have been featured in Playboy Magazine and how many SMU coeds and/or alumni have been featured in Playboy Magazine? I rest my case.
I have no idea how many UNT coeds/alumni have appeared in Playboy, obviously you must think SMU must have had more. I do know that UNT has produced quite a few Miss Texas' and at least one Miss America.... So what does that say, I guess that both school are blessed with a fair share of beauties but the SMUers are more disposed to take off there clothes for public viewing........CLASSY
SMU has had more. Who gives a damn about Miss Texas and Miss America...two beauty pageants that are mired in the fifties and sixties...wake up and smell the roses, buddy!

Sweet Christmas! If you're gonna argue the point, at least get your facts straight...It's Div. 1-A, Div. 1-AA, Div. II and Div. III. Although it will never happen, do you really think SMU would skip over Div. 1-AA to go to Div. II?

Actually, I think SMU has had more co-eds in JUGGS than we did.
NT had a handful in Playboy in the 70's and 80's, but gee-willakers, I am a bit freaked that any posters who say they went to a school largely sponsored by the United Methodist Church would be bragging on a public forum (for heavens sake) about how many from their Methodist Women's Missionary Society had posed 'nekid' in some girly magazine!:) (Pardon us NORTH TEXANS while we quietly laugh a bit about this one).
BUT......Southern "METHODIST" U alums bragging about how many of their girls have posed nude for any soft porn magazine is almost tantamount to the Pope bragging about how many pedophiles they reported last year.
Next subject please....this one about Playboy is kinda' silly. (Whoops! I said kinder and gentler, now didn't I)?
MAYBE A BETTER BAROMETER? How about how many of each of our school's co-eds have become Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders? SMU can't even get close to us on that one.

This thread tells me one thing, and that is: anybody who didn't think we should be scheduling NTSU all these years is an idiot. It's hard to imagine this kind of "stimulating, spirited discourse" with a team like...oh, I don't know, San Jose St.

I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaaack! Someone mentioned stimulating conversation so, here I am!
Great to hear North Texas and SMU will be meeting again on the gridiron. This will be beneficial to both universities at the gate. And we both need it. I'll visit often between now and 2007!
