The interm A.D. should have made sure SMU maximized the Public Relation opportunity when introducing the new uniforms. Instead it looked liked they grabbed a couple of guys off the street, told them to throw on the uniforms and snapped the picture. "O.K. Here they are!" yippee!

Typical SMU, give them a chance they will screw it up.

You know, if I was a new AD, and I knew my school had just switched to Nike, and I knew the jerseys were going to be a re-design, I knew I was hired primarily to re-brand SMU as a national brand and a BCS-worthy program, and I knew all of this would be coming together within days of my official start date...I am pretty darn sure I would be sending copious emails before-hand making sure things were planned to my liking so that my very first week didn't culminate with crap like this. They aren't even posed properly.

These people get paid at lot of money to be effective implementators. This was an important image that gets seen by thousands of fans and the media...I hope there a better version of the shoot being worked and that this was a haphazard "sneak peak", because otherwise we really sh$t the bed here. With the Big East regime, I expect miles better.

This was a big deal that most schools w/a rudder try to capitalize on. Your take is spot on, and the reality is that Hart should have been all over this. Stop tweeting & put a presentation together that says big time. I know he just showed up, and I'm not trying to dog the guy, but it was on his watch, and it was an epic fail of the highest order.
