Duncanville's Kiara Perry ('13) will be a Stang!

Wassup everybody. Been a while since I last posted. Its amazing how more time I had for social media before I started working for myself!

Happy to announce one of the kids Im blessed to coach/train will be headed to the Hilltop in 2013. Kiara Perry, 5'11 guard from Dville decided SMU was going to be her new home. I love this kids game and LOVE the kid even more. Great great great get for Rhonda, Deneen and crew! She is going to be the real deal.

In March she started at C on the state championship team and made all state. In April she started at G and led her HIGH SCHOOL team to several tourney titles on the grueling summer grassroots circuit.

Shes probably the best defender in her position in the state...and arguably the most versatile player. Will play all 5 positions this year...and play them well! Dville will be a contender for #1 team in the nation in 2013 after finishing top 10 in most rankings in 2012. And KP will be a major reason why.

There is NO DOUBT she will be all big east before she graduates. You heard it hear first. A great way for SMU to enter the big east...a real program changer.

And if her teammate G Ariel Atkins '14 decides to follow her to SMU...they will be contending for Big East crowns soon! Those 2 will dominate Texas hoops this year like Lebron and DWade.

Yes yes...I had to come out of the woodworks to announce the great news! I miss my PFans fix! It doesnt take much to get addicted. Im going for 100 posts before September! ha.

Ponyscott...I think the girls team will be solid again this year. Solid returnees...even better recruiting class...if they gel as a team and play to their potential theyll be good. even better in 2013!

Ill def be spending more time around Moody this year!! Ill go to 10 games for every 1 that hoopmanx attends.

Some good genes going on in that fam. I'm not sure we can give Jalen a free ride, though, iat least not until he prefers Friday over Next Friday.

hahaha...until he gets his priorities in line (The Friday flap is almost unforgivable) I dont know if we can let him in the Red/white/blue. Thats something a Horned Frog would do!

He starts high school on Monday at Duncanville HS...we'll see if he has what it takes to bring another banner to DHS. #4years&counting
