- Nike treats us like crap. Nike didn't try to make our uniforms worse. They tried to design a uniform they thought would be appealing.
MI- We had the same quality results when they were our vendor previously. IMO these uniforms are not appealing. They really look like they had an apprentice designer do the design work. I wonder if we (the university) actually have any say in accepting the designs or not accepting them.
Anyway, we all have our opinions. We peons have no say in the matter so as you say- it is what it is. However, I for one will not be buying any nike products- SMU style or otherwise.
The helmet looks great without the white space between the red and blue stripes. The pony express helmets were almost identical. The jerseys and pants are horrible. Just duplicate the Pony Express Jerseys/Pants and keep this helmet. It's not that hard.

Though I will say much improved on the presentation. BUT, get it right the first time. As they say, you don't have a second chance at a first impression.

GO PONIES!!!
They are always looooong!
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.
