What ouch? Looks like Gabe made the right decision. He probably wouldn't be playing here.

Ouch as in he said he didn't want to come to SMU b.c he couldn't count on the coach to be here. Would have been nice to have had him starting this year.

Cracked the starting lineup as a true freshman, impressive. Should catch 60-70 passes this season.

Sure they got Leach (who honestly gets too much credit for his job at Tech), but Wash st is truly an awful football team...at least for now

Marks was the one CA kid I hoped we could hang onto. I hope we don't lose other kids because of coaching concerns.

Marks would have played before Dieter IMO. He probably would have started for us next year. I wish we could have gotten him. He was known for running good routes and not dropping passes.

This is ridiculous.

1. We can't compare Marks to Dieter. They played in different systems, with different quarterbacks against different competition.

2. Coach J likes to go with four receivers. I doubt Dieter plays much and I doubt Marks would have played much, either.

3. Who cares? Marks moved, so good luck to him, I guess -- I don't care what he does. He's not a Mustang. My team is playing Baylor in a few days.

Marks may be the "real deal", but he's going to have to put on some weight to be effective. His arms look like twigs wrapped in tattoos out there....the bigger DBs in the Pac 12 are going to destroy him at the line.
