I'm actually incredibly well-informed. That's why I know it hits a raw nerve.

no you are just being stupid and unoriginal. Baylor defines irrelevant and you represent the university perfectly.

I'm just playing along with the material you're giving me. Suggesting a place to drink in Waco is not the same as claiming Baylor is a party school. I'm glad it's not. But Scruffy's is a fun time. If you want to go, great. If you don't want to bring the sour attitude, that's fine too.

But I understand that Waco is scary to you guys. It's got black people, Hispanics and poor people. Icky!

A Google query of Waco Sucks returns 492,000 responses.

Do you have equity in Scruffy's or something? Why are you selling this place so hard? It is kind of weird and creepy...especially since you allude to a specific girl's review on Yelp. Check yourself.

A Google query for Dallas Sucks returns 24,300,000 responses. Does that prove your point?

I'm talking about it because I was asked by an SMU fan to give more details about it.

The sarcasm and wit was, not surprisingly, lost you. I was using a ridiculous, inane measure to prove my point so as to illustrate how childish your postings/rationale are/is.

You sound like a little brother who wants people to think he is cool, "hey guys, my town is cool too; we have an Irish pub, other bars and things to do...can I Play?"

I find the very ethos of your online persona extremely amusing and i encourage you to continue posting. you're like the Joe Biden of message boards.

Not to refocus on the thread or anything, but do they sell beer at the George's tent by the stadium?

And, is it worth bringing a tent to put up in the parking lot for shade or is that not allowed.

Ah, yes, the old "I'm gonna claim you're unoriginal by regurgitating your insult against me" line. Am I getting punked? Because there's no way someone could miss that irony.

You think I'm not being sarcastic at all? Really?

I listed out a lot of places to hit up when you're in Waco. If you want to take that as "little brother" go ahead. In the real world, it's just being friendly.

I was in fact operating under the assumption that there a certain degree of sarcasm in your posts...otherwise you would be a sad individual. I do, however, think less of your reading comprehension as I never implied you weren't be sarcastic, only that you could not pick up on it from me.

I think we are all in agreement that Waco is terrible and anyone who would willfully live there or choose to spend four years there has some issues which should probably be dealt with by a professional. Case closed...move on.

Just tell us where you'll be so we can go somewhere else. I think that will make everyone happy.

Go have fun tonight, ponies. There are a lot of good times to be had in Waco. You guys have a good football team. Good luck in your season. Good game and sportsmanship.
