GG is not the problem. The vaunted WR are. All appear to have a problem finding an open spot in the defense. DJ dropping the TD pass was INEXECUSABLE especially since he is a senior. Than Thompson drops a catchable long ball that could have been a game changer near the end of the half.

Relax, the OB isn't the issue. Receivers not making catches have been killer. And a D that allows 10 points with 2:30 left in the half isn't the QB's fault. We get the O to open up some and we can get back in this game.

why not put in your second string quarterback like he did first game last year? nothing to lose since this game is over. JJ Mcdermont was a lot better quarterback than we gave him credit.

I asked my husband if he thought JJ would take GG out and try someone else. We both said No way B/C jj IS JUST THAT HARD HEADED.

JJ announced GG as the starting QB before he had even attended one official practice. Hence, he will never remove GG from the game.

Actually, if I recall correctly we were down 27-0 going into the 4th quarter back in 1978 or 1979 and Mike Ford through 4 TDs in that quarter to win the game and beat these clowns. Probably too much to ask for this year.

Don't know what to say. My initial thought is...are these big 12 refs? The answer to that is probably yes because I've never seen such bias in officiating. What really disturbs me is the lack of discipline on full display in the first quarter by our beloved ponies. I'm afraid this game is about to really get ugly. I hope I'm wrong. What a nightmare.
