They almost take out our bowl MVP, rip zac lines head off throw Gilbert to the ground 2 hours after the play is over...all on drives where scores were inevitable if the call is made....no calls...and they aren't to blame? Fine but they should be held accountable if one of these guys ends up hurt

pretty easy to see why Gilbert couldn't cut it at Texas; hope he can get his act together because I expect June will stick with him no matter how ugly things get

The officiating is terrible. But no amount of officiating is responsible for this deficit.

Attended a Monday luncheon several years back with JJ who was ask about his policy of submitting to the league a game critique on officials. He indicated he never did it at Hawaii as nothing could ever be done after the fact. At SMU he was encouraged to start doing so again with no effect other than to ensure the staff and team learned from the various situations. The previous game they had submitted 11 questionable calls to the league for review. League had returned an official letter confirming that officials had blown 9 of the 11 calls subject to question. Bottom line is that CUSA officiating is terrible which means college officiating in general is fairly weak.
