Hello there, JAFriend. Since you've described yourself as a friend if Richard Bartel's, I'm afraid I'm much older than you -- I graduated from SMU before you were born. But I've spent my life watching the Grapevine Mustangs and the SMU Mustangs .... hence my screen name.

I had figured you were probably considerably older than me, I was just curious about your connection to Grapevine. Didnt know if you were just a fan, resident, alumn, or booster. Just being curious.

Well, I'm 3 out of 4.
I'm a huge SMU fan, a resident of Grapevine and an alumnus of SMU.
Did you play sports at Grapevine HS?

I did. I played varsity football for three years, including the 98 state championship, varsity track for four, powerlifted two, and wrestling one. I graduated in 2001, and now I go to TCU. But dont hate me cause I dont hate ya'll. Anyways my brother's friends and of course, Richard played or play at SMU so I am a fan as well.
