The uniforms suck...but at least we are not desecrating our classic Pony Express uniforms with this performance.

Our Unis look about as good as we are playing..
Probaly won't happen...BUT...maybe it will!!

since there is no school name on the uniform maybe the TV audience will not know who we are?

You can tell Nike didn't put a lot of effort in these unis (& helmet) & our administration could care less about how we look. So - there you go.
BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS OF SMU FOOTBALL!!!

For some strange reason, one of the few universities that REFUSE to use their school colors: Harvard Crimson & Yale Blue.

I have long been curious as to why our helmets are cream color and the jersey is white. Seems they should match. And that is the total and final fashion statement I shall ever make.

Have often wondered the same thing about the helmet color. I guess with the home jerseys it's not quite as noticeable.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

My husband asked me why our helmets weren't white---I have no clue either. But I have no doubt it's all June's idea!!! jking.............
