On the bright side, at least we didn't crap the bed against an FCS school like 2 of our conference mates.

True, let's beat SFA next week so that will not happen.

We get our chance to do that next week. Though I suspect we'll bounce back from this opening blowout much like we did last year's.

Hey, i was surprised by our showing tonite. Really thought that SMOO would compete and possibly win with Baylor re=building and veteran Defense back. OL performed well, GG2 just couldnt hit passes, wobley throws, hopefully first game jitters. Our defense didnt perform well, which is surprising with veteran LB corp and first round NFL hopeful in Margus. We couldnt put any pressure on Bear QB, DB's looked overmatched, their RB's ran with open field, but our OL performed better than expected. JJ's SMOO teams are usually slow starters, so wouldnt be surprised if they bounce back and sneak a win out of Froogie and play Aggie close. The QB play has to be better though, defense has to step up and play Mason type football, with Reed, J'Gared and Hunt, you would expect D to perform, albeit they didnt show up tonite. Better times ahead, hopin that GG2 figures it out.

Do we have a chance for a first round draft choice? Oh I forgot, we have one on our D-Line!

oh my, back from waco. A little jealous of the Bears, but still would rather be an SMU grad. if you told me our Oline would look that respectable on the pass blocking, i would have been very optimistic, but the D made way too many horrible mistakes on penalties, broken coverages and missed tackles. what was wrong with JaGared?
