agree.

i wish holleman were better but could be a good blocker. i love the play with dj out in the slot with GG out ahead blocking. quick outs and set up the blockers. UH has done that for years in a hurry up set. we should do the same. sprinkle in some Zach runs and we keep offenses off the field. slow, boring march down the field. how the cowboys did it in the 90s.

Ace seems to have trouble catching, which is not a good trait for a receiver.

I think Dieter plays a good amount for the rest of the year IMO.

Agreed, one thing is for sure, he is not being redshirted.

I don't know if he should start but he definitely should get substantial PT.

He is a stud. While I had hoped we'd red shirt him, he looks ready. What a TD catch. Glad we will be watching him for four years. The guy needs to play a lot. One of the bright spots.

On a related note, even though OT was against the BU scrubs Preston looked poised and good. Between Gilbert and Preston, we are set at QB.

And GG apparently has a couple of games to improve before JJ quits him. Thank god, Preston looked competent so we didn't have to burn Burcham's redshirt. OL did better than expected. DL, LB looked awful. What's up with that?

Dieter is 6' 3" and uses his body very well to gain and maintain position on a defender. He proved last night that he has very good hands. The result is that he is an excellent "go to" receiver and should see plenty of PT. Put it up and let him go get it.

Like Dieter and looking forward to seeing him develop this year- although it looked to me from the replay on TV that he dropped the TD pass he caught- looked like it hit the ground as he went to the ground- anyone else notice thaT?

One angle showed that the ball hit his forearm not the ground. Good catch.
