bottom line is there were some obvious blown calls that favored BU...but that is not what lost us the game. Our dismal play in the red zone and pourous secondary is what lost the game for us.
Too many BU receivers running WIDE open. Not enough Zach Line when we were at the goal line. We score to make it 14-10 (instead of the INT and ensuing BU TD resulting in 21-3) and it may be a completely different ball game.
I didn't expect to win, but I thought the line was about right at 9 points. I thought we would at least make a game of it and that it would be close late, with BU depth finally winning out. Instead, we were blown out.

The bad calls would not have made us win the game by any stretch. It just would have made the game much closer than 59-24. It would have cancelled at least two of their touchdowns and then potentially added more points for us. Something like 45-38.

Refs were pretty Baylor biased, wasnt a win/loss difference but could have been closer

I have been watching college football for over 20 years. I've seen maybe 1 missed face mask call in that time. There were 3 in the first half. They made a huge difference in the half. Unfortunately the rest of the world wasn't paying attention. Unless u don't think Line gets in from the one yard line putting us down 4 at the half instead of a 24-3 deficit....I'd have to say u are the opposite of a fan

Baylor does have some quick receivers, one reason they were open a lot.
