Let's just get a win. They almost beat us in 2009. God, that would be embarrassing.

This team pushed us in '09. We can't take them for an easy win. THey will be well coached and fill this is an opportunity to knock off a better opponent. We need to beat this team, by playing hard, reducing mistakes and improving on details. And we need to protect the ball and stop stupid penalties.

If we play like we did against baylor then we will end up on the losing end again.

'take out our frustrations' - to do that this team has to want to win and be fired up. Something they didn't show Sunday. It starts with the coaches.

That's okay. They're on the schedule. We've got 11+ games left. One of the Big XII's new teams lost to Baylor last season - lost to SMU, too, and they finished with an outstanding record. A win is a win. We've been to 3 bowl games in a row.... three more SMU bowl games than I went to in the 25 years prior to June Jones' arrival. I am optimistic about winning Conference USA. I'm looking forward to Saturday. I always think we can win - even when 18-52 Bennett was here - Cavan, Rossley, Gregg, Collins, Meyer, Smith, Fry, Meek (that's as far as I go back). It would be depressing to think otherwise. I just don't do "negative" very well.
